We ran three searches on October 6, 2026, signed out and from outside the city (Google showed the searcher's location as Bellefonte, Pennsylvania).

Three things follow.
- The franchised stores sit on the loops and highways. Five of the six listings in the first two searches had a loop, highway or interstate access road in the address.
- The financing lots are on neighborhood streets. None of the three had a loop or highway in the address, and Google showed no listing in another city for any of the three searches.
- The financing pack is within reach. Its largest review count, 712, is less than half the smallest count in the used car pack. One showed the note "Their website mentions buy here pay here": Google read the lot's website to match the search.
If you finance in house, a plain financing page that says so gives Google the match.
What changes on November 1, 2026?
Emissions testing arrives. The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality states that enhanced inspections begin in Bexar County on November 1, 2026, with gasoline vehicles 2 through 24 years old inspected each year.
Two jobs come from that:
- Used inventory: buyers will ask whether a car passes. Say so on the vehicle page.
- Service department: if your store will perform the test, list the inspection on the service department's profile. That work overlaps with auto repair local SEO.

Which nearby cities are separate markets?

- Schertz: 42,002 in 2020.
Both search by their own names. Inside the city, 64.6% of residents are Hispanic or Latino and 40.4% of those age 5 and older speak a language other than English at home, the Census Bureau reports.
