Three things a Provo dealer can use:
- The pack is within reach. A lot with 196 reviews ranked beside one with about 1,700. Volume does not lock a smaller lot out the way it does in Salt Lake City.
- The AI Overview repeated the map pack. Directly under the pack, Google's AI Overview named the same three dealers with their ratings and review counts. Here, the work that wins the map also wins the AI answer.
- A brand search went to one website. Google showed a single dealer's site and no map, so a franchised store's home page and inventory links carry that search.

Geography narrows the market. Utah Lake is to the west and the Wasatch Range to the east, and I-15 runs through western Provo. A 5-mile grid from a University Avenue lot covers Provo and most of Orem, which is the area that matters.

City-named demand is small, and Orem holds most of it. The volume is in "near me" searches, which the map grid measures, and in the Orem search, which needs a page of its own.
