Home / Industries / Dental practices / Periodontists
Quick summary: This page is for periodontal specialty practices that want more self-referred patients without unsettling the dentists who refer to them. The table links the periodontist local SEO page and three pages shared with all dental practices. Start with the implant search, which is the largest one a periodontist can compete for.
Of the four, only local SEO has a published starting price: $850/mo per location. The rest is on packages and the dental practices page.
Referring dentists find you by name. Patients find you by problem, because many do not know the word. Ahrefs Keywords Explorer shows about 91,000 searches a month in the United States for "dental implants near me", about 29,000 for "gum disease treatment" and about 23,000 for "periodontist near me".
Local search can grow the second group only. Say on the implant page that patients return to their general dentist for regular care. That one line protects the referral relationship.
It is where local SEO pays first. The implant search is about four times the size of the specialty search, and the profile category and reviews decide who shows for it.
It should not, if the site says plainly that patients go back to their general dentist. A referral form for dentists helps.
Research searches such as gum disease treatment and gum graft. They have no "near me", so pages win them, not the profile.
Only if the practice wants patient-facing marketing. If it does not, there is little for local search to grow.
